Mentorship 2010 in Pune (6 January 2010)

Steria Mentorship concluding session for 6 month mentorship program was organised on 6 Jan. 10 children from 3 schools ie. Ganage School, Dnyandeep Vidyalaya & Nigdi High School came to Steria Pune office at 11am. Magic show was organised for the kids and mentors on the day. The program was followed by lunch & gift distribution to all children. Vrushali Jadhav, Chaitrali Inamdar, Dushyant Patil, Anita Gore, Ashwini Joshi, Rajul Nema, Archana Shinde, Devayani Bhide, Yogesh Bahiramwar actively participated in the program.

 

 

 

Sports for Pune Girls (11 January 2010)

SteriaVolley ball tournaments were conducted on 11 Jan’10 for girls teams from 4 schools ie. Ganage High School, Dnyandeep Vidyalaya, Nigdi Primary School and Nigdi High School. There were 3 matches scheduled and the winner was Dnyandeep Vidyalaya. Ganage High School was the runner up for the tournaments.

 

 

 

 

Chocolate Day in Pune for New Year Celebrations in Jagriti School (12 January 2010) 

On 12 Jan’10 Pune CSR volunteers celebrated chocolate day. Anubhuti Gupta was the lead volunteer for this event. She and team of volunteers collected funds from the managers (Rs.4000) which was used to prepare delicious chocolates by our volunteer Sumita Sharma from NHS. CSR Pune volunteers raised Rs.5550 out of this initiative for Jagruiti. Anubhuti Gupta, Vrushali Jadhav, Sumita Sharma were part of the event. The funds raised through chocolate day were used to celebrate New Year & Makar Sankranti with Jagriti School for Blind Girls. On 14 Jan volunteers visited Jagriti School with cake, milk & some gifts for the inmates of the school. They saw the school, hostel & computer centre. Merlyn Boodle, Vrushali Jadhav, Anubhuti Gupta, Dipti Deshmane, Shriram, Yogesh Bahiramwar & Chaitrali Inamdar were present for the visit.

Jagriti Girls Pune Visit INS Vikrant (26 January 2010)

150 girls from Jagriti School for Blind Girls visited INS Vikrant on 17 Jan 10 at Mumbai. This trip was sponsored by Steria. They also visited to the Gateway of India.
