EOTO Launched in Padma Adarsh, Chennai (4 January 2010)

On 4 January 2010 – Each One Teach One program was launched in Padma Adarsh School, Chennai. Staff volunteers will be taking English language classes for 1 hour everyday, for the next three months.

Orientation Program on Environment Awareness (7 January 2010)

Vinod Hari from Isha Foundation along with CSR team conducted an orientation session on 7 January for the self help group of Thiruporur village, Chennai. More than 120 people from different self help group participated in this session.  

Tree Plantation Campaign (9 January 2010)

On 9 January, a Tree Plantation Campaign in Thiruporur Village was conducted and 500 fruit bearing saplings were distributed by our volunteers to the villagers. 15 volunteers participated along with 50 students from Thiruporur School along with their teachers.

Career Awareness Program (11 January 2010)

JA Training was conducted at Padma Adarsh School, Chennai on 11 January for 74 students of Class 11. This career guidance session was conducted by Mohan and Freddy Raj from JA and attended by Paddy - our volunteer and the CSR team as observers.

Mentorship 2010 Chennai (January 2010)

Mentorship Program concluding session for Medavakkam School and Bhuvana Krishan Matriculation School was conducted in January. Volunteers conducted a quiz in English language which was followed by sharing experiences of the program. All students received a geometry box as a gift.
