HQ School inaugurated
Inauguration of HQ sponsored school under - One Steria One Country One School Prog initiative. Francois Enaud, Mukesh Aghi & Laurent Lamaire inaugurated the computer centre in Thiruporur Government Girls Higher Secondary School on 27 October 2009., with the traditional cutting of the ribbon to the computer centre and lighting of the lamp. Children presented their learnings and information about the school through the computers. Cultural programmes was followed by thank you notes from students and seniors of the school. The programme was concluded with Francois Enaud’s message for the children to do well in the studies and wishing the best for their future.
ODC Grand Finale (Dt of publishing: 2 Nov 2009)

The Grand Finale of ODC events took place in Noida with the Fun Day for children of Gyan Sakti Vidyalaya. The Fun Day programmes included carnival games, painting competitions and magic shows. The prizes for the various build up events for ODC were given away by Navin Chugh, Piyush Rakhecha and Gurinder VirSingh.
In Chennai, the Grand Finale included performances by children from Aruwe – an NGO working with street kids, a street play by theatre club students from Medavakkam School and performances by our own CSR volunteers. Steria Scholars – both initial batch and the 2009 batch participated in all the events held during the day. S. Ram Kumar gave away the prizes for the winners of the various competitions and the programme concluded with music by our own DJ volunteer – G Raghu.
In Pune, Nigdi School students had a gala time along with the staff at the carnival games. Magic show and performances by volunteers, students also found time after the fun events. Children enjoyed a sumptuous dinner and were sent home after receiving gifts from the volunteers.
