Chennai CSR volunteers conducted the Annual Sports Day in Sholinganallur Middle School on 24 August. 525 students participated in various sports activities conducted by our volunteers. Prizes were distributed to the winners. Presented sports goods like foot balls, carrom board, cricket sets etc for the children of the school. Delhi State Kickboxing Championship (Dt of publishing: 19 Aug 2009)

2 Gold, 2 Silver & 2 Bronze Medals won…

Children belonging to Junior High School Sec 12 Noida participated in the 7th Delhi State Kickboxing Championship on 15 & 16 August’09. Karate lessons for these students and those of Adarsh Prathmik Vidyalaya had been initiated in the month of July'09. These classes were conducted thrice a week on JHS Sec-12 school premises. On 15 & 16 Aug'09, ten of our children representing Steria participated in the 7th Delhi State Kickboxing Championship 2009 in the Sub-Junior category. Our children were hugely successful with a tally of 2 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals. This is indeed a big achievement, as this competition was conducted at the state level and over 750 children from different schools and clubs from Delhi & NCR participated in this competition.
