Bites Community Day (Dt of publishing: 14 Aug 2009)

1200 children & 20 volunteers participated

In Noida, BITES Community Day at Adarsh Prathmik Vidyalaya Harola was held on Tuesday, 11 August’09. Volunteers from BITES project celebrated their community day with a drawing competition for more than 1200 children. All the children were given a drawing kit which included – a pencil, an eraser, a sharpener, a drawing sheet and a box of colour pencils. Refreshments were also served to all the 1200 children in the school. Around 20 staff volunteers from BITES project took part in this community day event.

Fun Day for 40 Aruwe children (Dt of publishing: 10 Aug 2009)

Happy to come to Steria….

On 8 August, 40 children from Aruwe, our NGO partner, visited Steria Chennai office for a fun-day organised by staff volunteers. The fun day programme included a movie show, a demo on the usage of internet, followed by group dances by children and volunteers. After lunch the children returned home with the gifts that they received from the volunteers.
