Collection campaign Goonj collection drive

Old clothes and educational material collection drive was organised for one week in May 09 in Pune and in Noida in June. A large number of employees participated in the campaign by donating clothes, used items, etc, all of which was packed in big cartons to be handed over to Goonj our partner NGO.

Examination pointers Well Done Sindhu...

Examination pointers - a session for students of Std 10 of Medavakkam High School (CFS sponsored school in Chennai) was conducted by our lead volunteer - P.Sindhu. This exercise and the various programmes held in the school in 2008-09, has resulted in a 96% pass percentage in this year's board exams for Medavakkam School. Many thanks to all the staff volunteers and specially CFS staff in India and UK for their contribution to the school.

Padma Adarsh - Meal sponsored by volunteers

Volunteers of Steria sponsored a meal for 150 children of Padma Adarsh Orphanage Home in April 2009. The meal included 5 varieties of rice which was enjoyed thoroughly by the children as well as the volunteers.

Volunteers Visit - All the women were extremely happy

On 15 May 2009, a group of volunteers visited the old age home, rehabilitation centre for the differently abled in Padma Adarsh to spend time with the old resident ladies. Biscuits and cakes sponsored by a volunteer were distributed to the old ladies and to the girls in the home. The volunteers also met with the school children undergoing training in Zardosi (tailoring) work.

Happy Birthdays - Volunteers visit to Udayan Care Home

Steria staff volunteers visited Udayan Care Home and celebrated the birthdays of all the children falling in the month of May. A day well spent and cherished by the children as well as the volunteers. Gifts were distributed to all the kids.
